Rose Petal Tea
A universal symbol of love with a fragrance that elicits a heart opening smile, Roses are a romantic stimulant that uplift and enfold. Its core benefits include toning the skin, cooling the body, relieiving infections and inspiring romance.
Make a beautiful healing tea, sprinkle in a bath, crush in a poultice, drop a sachet, decorate salads, make a body spray, sprinkle in potpourri, sweeten desserts or use in infusions.
To make a lovely tea or to relieve a cold, fever or sore throat, steep 1 tsp dried rose petals in 1 cup just-boiled water for 5 minutes. Strain and take 1 cup of this infusion 3x a day until the infection is gone. For a bath, place petals in a large muslin bag or an extra-large tea strainer and attach it directly to the faucet of the tub. Let the hottest water possible run through the herb for a few minutes, then adjust the water temperature to a comfortable level to fill the tub. As a facial steam, add 1-2 tspn of flowers to a large bowl hot water. Position face over the bowl with the option to cover your head with a towel and allow the steam to seep into your skin while you breathe in and relax. Be mindful of water temperature and of leaving room to breathe properly. Can be added to a steamer machine as well.
Everything in my shoppe is based in nature. The ingredients I choose are simple, clean, organic and easy on the body, while being highly nourishing and effective.
